Mac Liquidlast Liner Swatches

Hi again! These are the Mac liquidlasts I have that aren't glitter (those will come in another post... admittedly there aren't many:0). Like many of Mac's products, these things are great and reliable, something that I recommend trying out. They are a pain to get off though but that's ok. I bought all of these myself. If you click on the picture you'll get a close up view (I recommend this with the tubes because there is some great color in the purples that you don't usually see otherwise).

Blue Herizon, Aqualine, Pop Iris, Electrolady, Classic Cream

Blue Herizon. It's a blue so I don't wear it much but I love the true color.

Aqualine. I would call it a sea blue because of the little bit of green I see in it. Probably one of my favorite colors but once again, I don't wear it much.

Pop Iris. I wear this one when I know it's going to be a fun, light day. I love purple, it makes the green in my hazel eyes pop, and it catches attention.

Electrolady. A dark purple with really slight red in it (click on the pic:)) so it really is gorgeous and since it's rather dark, it's a good replacement for black, which can be a little too harsh.

Classic Cream. Sigh. It is an absolutely gorgeous color (in my opinion) but it looks a little strange on. You know how putting white liner on your waterline can widen your eyes, I think this is the same way, but it just looks strange on top... Once again, wistful sigh...

Mac Pigment Swatches Part II

Here's the second round of swatches. Yay! Click on the image to get a better look at the color, it really helps. I bought all of these myself.

Golden Lemon. Umm. It's ok, not my favorite.

Gold Mode. Really nice for the more natural look with a little extra sparkle.

Melon. One of my other favorites. It's so dynamic. I have two pictures here because I feel the first shows off the color better while the second shows the gold that it has in it. Great as just one color over the eye, no extras needed. I love shadows that have a different color flash or an iridescent shadow, they're absolutely gorgeous.

Pink Bronze. The image is way to orange and the swatch doesn't do it justice either. The pink is a very nice touch.

Fuchsia. A very nice bright pink. I don't wear this that often because it's probably a little to bright for me but I saw some looks that I loved that used it so that's why I bought it.

Chocolate Brown. Just like the name, chocolate brown, maybe a little darker.

Mac Pigment Swatches Part I

These are some of the pigments I own. I love mac pigments but I honestly don't know why. I'm really big into indie makeup brands and they have proven to have some really good quality pigments. As you will see, Mac pigments are don't have the best formula. They are not that smooth and very flaky so expect fallout. Now I never dip my brush directly into the pigment because that can be too messy. The jar comes with a little plastic cover over the pigment after i open the lid and pigment usually collects on that so it's perfect to collect the color. Click on the picture and you'll see it up close. I bought all of these myself.

Violet. My favorite pigment. I absolutely love this one and wear it all the time.

Cornflower. I would describe it as a a more blue than purple periwinkle. It's very pretty.

Mutiny. A nice light blue but pretty bad formula. Even though the picture might not look it, it has very large chunks. The particles you see are basically the smallest size they get. In the other pigments, the chunks smooth out but these don't.

Teal. A nice dark teal.

Blue Brown. A deep brown with blue flash. I like this color a lot because I hardly wear blue (most of the blue products you see, besides nail polish, are impulse buys) and this is a way for me to get a little fix.

Golden Olive. It's not exactly olive but that's ok. It's not a crisp green, just a tinge dirty, but it's very pretty with the gold. I like doing a green smokey look and I'll use this as the base color on the lid so the entire look isn't too dark.

Stila Smudge Pot Swatches

These are the swatches for some of the Stila Smudge Pots I own right now. They are great liners except they start to smell sooner than most which might turn some people off. Click on the picture and you'll see it up close. I bought all these myself.

Pomegranate, Cobalt, Jade

Pomegranate. It's a really nice red that would make green eyes pop. I have hazel so when I really want to bring out the green I'll wear this. Just a word of warning, if this isn't applied correctly it could look irritated.

Cobalt. A really gorgeous royal blue.

Jade. I honestly haven't used this one as much.
